Shopkeeper -Welcome to my shop sir, how may I help you?
मेरी दुकान मेँ आपका स्वागत है, मैं आपकी कैसे मदद कर सकता है?
Customer- Well, I want to buy a mobile.
ठीक है, मैं एक मोबाइल खरीदना चाहता हूँ।
Shopkeeper- Why not sir , we have many mobiles but what is your budget?
क्यों नहीं सर, हमारे पास बहोत सारे मोबाइल है लेकिन आपका बजट क्या है?
Customer- My budget is 20,000 rs.
मेरा बजट 20,000 रुपये है।
Shopkeeper-This is a good budget, you can buy Realme.
यह एक अच्छा बजट है. आप रियलमी खरीद सकते हैं।
Customer- Sorry, I don’t like Realme.
क्षमा करें, मुझे रियलमी पसंद नहीं है।
Shopkeeper- No problem sir, you can buy Samsung Galaxy.
कोई समस्या नहीं है. साहब, आप सैमसंग गैलेक्सी खरीद सकते हैं।
Customer- Please tell me about this mobile.
कृपया इस मोबाइल के बारे में मुझे बताओ।
Shopkeeper- Sir, this is a smart phone . there are many features in this mobile just like Bluetooth, WI-FI,10 mega pixel camera etc.
सर, यह एक स्मार्ट फोन है। कई विशेषताएं हैं इस मोबाइल में जैसे ब्लूटूथ वाई-फाई, 10 मेगा पिक्सेल कैमरा आदि
Customer- What is the operating system of this mobile?
इस मोबाइल के ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम क्या है?
Shopkeeper- The operating system of this mobile is android 4.2.
इस मोबाइल की ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम एंड्रॉयड 4.2 है ।
Customer- Please tell about memory.
memoryके बारे में बताएं।
Shopkeeper- Sir, internal memory is 4 GB and external memory is 16 GB.
महोदय, आंतरिक मेमोरी 4 जीबी की है और बाहरी मेमोरी 16 जीबी है।
Customer- What is the price of this mobile?
इस मोबाइल की कीमत क्या है?
Shopkeeper- The price of this mobile is only 19,000 rs.
इस मोबाइल की कीमत केवल 19,000 रुपये है
Customer - Oh! It is very costly, can you give me discount ?
ओह! यह बहुत महंगा है तुम मुझे छूट दे सकते हो ?
Shopkeeper- Sorry sir, it is fixed rate.
क्षमा करें महोदय, यह निश्चित दर है।
Customer- But other shopkeepers are giving discount.
लेकिन अन्य दुकानदार छूट दे रहे हैं।
Shopkeeper- Look sir, it is a branded mobile , I can give you discount in local mobiles.
देखो साहब, यह एक ब्रांडेड मोबाइल है .हम लोकल मोबाइल में छूट दे सकते हैं।
Customer- Ok no problem, I am going to other shop.
ठीक है कोई समस्या नहीं है, मैं अन्य दुकान में जा रहा हूँ।
Shopkeeper- Wait sir , this is my opening time so I can give you 10% discount.
सर रुको , यह मेरा बोहनी का समय हैं तो मैं आपको 10% छूट दे सकता हूँ ।
Customer- Ok I want to buy this mobile please pack it.
ठीक है, मैं इस मोबाइल को खरीदना चाहता हूँ ।
Shopkeeper- Ok sir any thing else.
ठीक है सर और कुछ ।
Customer- Ya! I want to buy a pen drive.
हां! मैं एक पेन ड्राइव खरीदना चाहता हूँ।
Shopkeeper- Sir local or branded.
सर लोकल या ब्रांडेड।
Customer- Only branded.
केवल ब्रांडेड।
Shopkeeper- Look sir, this Intex 16 GB pen drive.
यह इंटेक्स 16 जीबी पेन ड्राइव है।
Customer- What is the price of this pen drive?
इस पेन ड्राइव की कीमत क्या है?
Shopkeeper- The price of this pen drive is only 350 rs.
इस पेन ड्राइव की कीमत केवल 350 रुपये है।
Customer- Ok I want to buy this pen drive.
ठीक है, मुझे इस पेन ड्राइव खरीदना हैं।
Shopkeeper- Ok sir, any thing else.
ठीक है सर और कुछ ।
Customer- No please give me a bill.
मुझे बिल दे दीजिए।
Shopkeeper- Sir, this is your bill.
यह आपके बिल।
Customer- This is your money.
यह तुम्हारे पैसे।
Shopkeeper- Thank you very much, please come again.
धन्यवाद। फिर से आइये कृपया
ROLE PLAY - 2 : Conversation on buying a Shirt (एक शर्ट खरीदने पर बातचीत)
Customer : I’d like to buy a shirt.
मुझे एक क़मीज़ खरीदनी है.
Shopkeeper : What type of shirt do you want?
आपको कैसी क़मीज़ चाहिए?
Customer : I want cotton shirt.
मुझे एक सूती क़मीज़ चाहिए.
Shopkeeper : You can find it here.
आप यहाँ देख सकते हैं.
Customer: I'm just looking, how much is this?
मैं बस देख रहा हूँ, यह कितने का है?
Shopkeeper : It costs Rs.1000/- .
यह हज़ार रुपये का है.
Customer : It's too expensive.
यह बहुत महँगा है।
Shopkeeper : But the material is very good. You give Rs. 900/-.
पर कपड़ा बहुत अच्छा है, आप नौ सौ दीजिए।
Customer : Do you accept credit cards?
क्या आप क्रेडिट कार्ड स्वीकार करते हैं?
Shopkeeper : Of course .Give me .
जरुर,मुझे दीजिए।
Shopkeeper : What else do you want?
आपको और क्या चाहिए ?
Customer : That's all, thanks.
बस इतना ही, धन्यवाद।
Shopkeeper : Come again.
फिर आईएगा।
Customer : Sure.

(खरीददारी कि बातचीत)
अभिषेक : आपने आज क्या किया?

प्रिया: मैं आज खरीददारी करने गयी थी
I went shopping.
अभिषेक : क्या आपने कुछ खरीदा ?
Did you buy anything?
प्रिया: मैंने कुछ चीज़ें खरीदी
Yes, I bought a few things.
अभिषेक: आपने क्या खरीदा?
What did you buy?
प्रिया: मैंने यह कोट खरीदा. क्या आपको यह पसन्द है?
I bought this coat. Do you like it?
अभिषेक: हाँ, मुझे यह बहुत पसन्द है. यह बहुत खूबसूरत है. आपने यह कहाँ खरीदा?
Yeah, I like it a lot. It's very pretty. Where did you buy it?
प्रिया: 5th स्ट्रीट पर माल में
At the mall on 5th street.
अभिषेक: क्या यह महँगा था?
Was it expensive?
प्रिया: नहीं, यह महँगा नहीं था. यह सेल पर सिर्फ बारह सौ रूपए के लिए था।
No, it wasn't expensive. It was on sale for 1200 rupees.
अभिषेक: वो सस्ता है
That's cheap.
प्रिया: मुझे पता है. वह बहुत ही अच्छा सौदा था.
I know. It was a really good deal.
ROLE PLAY - 4 : Two people are travelling by train
A- Excuse me sir , can you tell me? where is the seat number 25?
सर माफ करना, क्या आप मुझे बता सकते हैं? सीट संख्या 25 कहा है?
B- Yes,this is seat number 25.
हाँ ,यह सीट संख्या 25 है।
A- thank you very much.
आपका बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।
B- you are welcome.
आपका स्वागत है।
A- By the way my name is Rahul and yours.
वैसे मेरा नाम राहुल और तुम्हारा ?
B- Hello! my name is Raj Prakash.
नमस्कार! मेरा नाम राज प्रकाश है।
A- So where are you going?
तो तुम कहाँ जा रहे हो ?
B- I am going to Delhi and you.
मैं दिल्ली जा रहा हूँ और आप ?
A- That is good, I am also going to Delhi .
यह अच्छा है, मैं भी दिल्ली जा रहा हूँ ।
B- Why are you going to Delhi?
आप दिल्ली क्यों जा रहे हैं?
A- I am going to Delhi for visiting.
मैं घूमने के लिए दिल्ली जा रहा हूँ।
B- It’s good.
यह अच्छा है।
A- You tell , why are you going to Delhi?
ये बताओ तुम दिल्ली क्यों जा रहे हो ?
B- I am going for business purpose.
मैं व्यावसायिक उद्देश्य के लिए जा रहा हूँ।
A- Are you going alone?
क्या तुम अकेले जा रहे हो ?
B- Yes, I am going alone and you ?
हाँ, मैं अकेला जा रहा हूँ और आप ?
A- I am also going alone.
मैं भी अकेला जा रहा हूँ।
B- What do you do?
आप क्या करते हैं?
A- I am a teacher in a college and I teach science.
मैं एक कॉलेज में एक शिक्षक हूँ और मैं विज्ञान पढ़ाता हूँ ।
B- Oh! Its nice.
ओह! यह अच्छा है।
A- Now you tell, what do you do?
तुम क्या करते हो, बताओ?
B- I am a businessman, I have a shop.
मैं एक व्यापारी हूँ, मेरा एक दुकान है।
A-Where do you live?
आप कहां रहते हैं?
B- I live at Bhilai and you ?
मैं भिलाई में रहता हूँ और आप ?
A- I live at Durg.
मैं दुर्ग में रहता हूँ ।
B- Look a tea man is coming. Will you take tea?
देखो! चाय वाला आ रहा है। क्या आप चाय लेंगे?
A- Yes, tea will do.
हाँ,चाय चलेगी ।
B- Please have tea
कृपया चाय लीजिये ।
A- Thank you very much.
बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।
B- I think today train is running very slow, what is your thinking?
मुझे लगता है , आज ट्रेन बहुत धीमी गति से चल रहा है,आपको क्या लगता है ?
A- Yes, you are right, because of weather.
हाँ आप सही कह रहे हैं।मौसम की वजह से है ।
B- I think We are reaching to Nagpur station .
लगता है हम नागपुर स्टेशन के लिए पहुंच रहे हैं ।
A- Ya, it is Nagpur station.
हां, यह नागपुर स्टेशन है।
B-I am going to platform, do you want any thing?
मै प्लेटफॉर्म जा रहा हूँ आपको कुछ चाहिये ।
A- No thanks.
