He does his best to encourage us. My father is a very sweet and loving person.  But he is also strict at times to keep us disciplined.  He takes care of every small need of ours. 11.MY ENGLISH TEACHER: My teacher’s name is Mr. Anurag sir.  He is well qualified in his subject. He teaches us Spoken English. He is well experienced in that field. He knows very well how to teach. He makes students to feel more comfortable with his subject. He never shout on us . He is very kind and punctual person. He treats all the students in the same way. He always supports us . He always gives us the homework. He gives us extra time after his lecture.  We never get boared when he teaches us. All the students likes his teachings. He always motivates us . He always stay ready to help us . He is our class teacher. He never discriminate with. We feel blessed to have a teacher like him .  We all the students love him because he is not only a kind person but a good human being also.  I love anurag sir.   Anurag sir is the best english teacher in this city. 

12.BHANDARI SIR: I am a student of Advance Spoken English class in Risali, Bhilai. Today I would like to tell you about Bhandari Sir. Bhandari Sir's full name is Danesh Bhandari. He is an English teacher and the Director and Founder of Advance Spoken English Classes in Risali, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. 13.OUR NEIGHBORS: The people who live near where we live are our neighbors. We have wonderful neighbors.  I live in Risali Sector, Bhilai. Rajesh uncle lives on the right side of my house and shudhir uncle lives on the left. Rajesh uncle's younger son Rahul is my best friend. Rajesh uncle is a doctor.  He is a good doctor. He is very famous in bhilai. He is very helpful and kind.  Shudhir uncle is also a good person.  He is a professor in college. He is very intelligent. He always helps to all students.  My neighbors are very well behaved. They are with us in any situation. We also help our neighbors.  Our neighbor is the first to participate in our happiness and sorrow. One day there was a fire in my house and my neighbor came first to extinguish it. We should always treat our neighbors properly and should not fight with them. We should live in harmony with our neighbors.


14. MY FAVORITE CRICKETER: My favorite game is cricket. My favorite cricketer is MS Dhoni. He is wonderful cricketer. The full name of Dhoni is Mahendra Singh Dhoni  His nickname is Mahi.  He is known as a best finisher in Indian Cricket Team. He was born in Ranchi in 1981. His birthplace is Ranchi. On 4 July 2010, he married to Sakshi Singh Rawat. He was the most successful captain of the Indian cricket team. Dhoni loves Motorbikes very much.  MS Dhoni is also fond of Vintage Cars.  Mahendra Singh Dhoni is father of a sweet daughter Ziva Dhoni. The Roar of a Lion’ is a web-series based on his journey in cricket.  M.S. Dhoni is an international cricket player of India. He is a right-handed batsman. He is a medium pace bowler.  Dhoni is known for his outstanding skill in the wicket-keeping. He has the record of being only Indian captain to win all the ICC trophies. He worked as a TTE at Kharagpur Railway Station starting from 2001. He is the wicketkeeper of the Indian team The Indian government awarded him Padma Bhusan in 2018. He started his international career by playing in the Bangladesh tour in 2004-05. A film was made on his life  M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. 15. MY FAVORITE SINGER: Sonu Nigam is a famous Indian singer known for his beautiful voice. He was born on July 30, 1973, in Faridabad, Haryana. Sonu started singing when he was just four years old.  He became popular by singing songs in Bollywood movies. One of his first big hits was "Accha Sila Diya" from the film Bewafa Sanam. Some of his other famous songs include "Kal Ho Naa Ho," "Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin," and "Suraj Hua Maddham." Sonu Nigam sings in many Indian languages like Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali. He has won many awards for his singing, including the National Film Award and Filmfare Awards. Sonu Nigam is also great at performing live. He has sung in concerts all over the world. Besides singing, he has worked as a music director and hosted TV shows. 17. OUR PRIME MINISTER:  Our prime minister is Narendra modi. His full name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. Narendra Damodardas Modi was born in Vadnagar, Gujarat, on September 17, 1950. His father’s name is Damodardas Mulchand Modi  His mother’s name is Hiraben Modi.  Narendra Modi is India’s 14th Prime Minister. prime minister elected in 2014. Before becoming Prime minister, he was chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.  In India, he established the GST tax system. Modi belongs to both the RSS and the BJP.  In childhood, Narendra Modi worked as a tea vendor at the Vadnagar Railway Station. Modi had completed his education upto M.A. from Gujarat university.  In India, he is regarded for making difficult decisions in the fight against corruption and terrorism. After becoming Prime Minister, he launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  In 2001, he got chance to become chief minister of Gujarat.  Modi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1985.   To prevent the spread of the coronavirus in India, he made the decision to put the country on lockdown. Narendra Modi used to own a small tea store when he was younger.  In 1985, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.  In 1968, at the age of 18, he married Jashodaben Modi. He was chief minister of Gujarat for 14 years. Narendra Modi was voted the best Chief Minister. He is 4th longest serving PM of india.  His journey from tea stall vendor to prime minister was difficult.

18. PLAYING TENNIS  : My favorite sport is tennis. It is a very interesting game. I go to a tennis school three times a week. I always play tennis with my father on the weekends. एक बार एक जंगल में एक शेर था और वह सोया हुआ था । पास ही एक चूहा रहता था । वह अपने बिल में से बहार आया । वह शेर के ऊपर उछल कूद करने लगा । शेर जाग गया । उसने चूहे को पकड़ लिया । चूहे ने दया की भीख मांगी । शेर को उस पर दया आ गयी । उसने उसे छोड़ दिया। एक दिन जंगल में एक शिकारी आया । उसने आपना जाल बिछाया । वही शेर इसमें फस गया । वह दहाड़ने लगा । चूहे ने उसकी दहाड़ें सुनी । वह बहार आया । उसने जाल को काट दिया । शेर स्वतंत्र हो गया । उसने चूहे का धन्यबाद किया।
शिक्षा : कर भला, हो भला ।

Once there was a lion in the jungle. He was sleeping. A mouse lived nearby. It came out of its hole. It began to jamp over the lion. The lion woke up. He caught the mouse. The mouse bagged for mercy. The lion took pity on it. He let it go.

49. HE HARE AND THE TORTOISE (खरगोश और कछुआ की कहानी)

एक बार एक खरगोश था । वह एक जंगल में रहता था । वहां एक कछुआ भी था । वे मित्र बन गए । एक दिन खरगोश कछुए पर हंसा । उसने कहा की कछुआ बहुत धीमा चलता है । कछुआ इस अपमान को सहन न कर सका । उसने खरगोश से कहा की वे एक दौड़ दौड़ें । एक लक्ष्य निश्चित कर लिया गया । दौड़ आरम्भ हुई । खरगोश बहुत तेज भागा । वह बहुत आगे गया । उसने आराम करने कि सोची । वह सो गया कछुआ धीरे-धीरे चला । मगर वह आगे बढ़ता गया । वह रुका नहीं । वह खरगोश के पास से गुजरा ।खरगोश सो रहा था । कछुआ लक्ष्य पर पंहुचा गया । कुछ देर बाद खरगोश जागा और वह तेज भागा । मगर कछुआ दौड़ जीत चुका था ।
शिक्षा : सहज पके सो मीठा होए ।
Once there was a hare. He lived in a jungle. There was a tortoise also. They become friends. One day the hare laughed at the tortoise. He said that the tortoise was very slow. The tortoise could not bear the insult. He asked the hare to run a race.
A goal was fixed. The race began. The hare ran fast. He came much ahead. He thought of taking rest. He fell asleep. The tortoise moved slowly. But he want on. He did not stop. He passed by the hare. The hare was sleeping. The tortoise reached the goal.

After some time, the hare woke up. He ran fast. But the tortoise had won the race.
Moral : Slow And Steady Wins The Race.


50. THE WOLF AND THE LAMB (भेड़िया और मैमना की कहानी) :
एक बार एक भेड़िया था । उसे प्यास लगी । वह एक नदी पर गया । उसने पानी पीना आरम्भ कर दिया । उसने एक मेमना देखा । वह भी पानी पी रहा था । वह नीचे की तरफ था । भेडिये के मुहं में पानी आ गया । वह मेमने को खाना चाहता था । उसने मेमने से कहा कि तुम पानी को गंदा क्यों कर रहे हो ? मेमने ने उत्तर दिया , ” श्रीमान पानी आपकी तरफ से मेरी तरफ आ रहा है मैं इसे गंदा कैसे कर सकता हूँ । अब भेडिये ने कहा की तुमने मुझे पिछले साल गाली क्यूँ की दी थी ? ” भेडिये ने कहा, ” पिछले साल तो मैं पैदा भी नहीं हुआ था । इस पर भेडिये ने फिर कहा कि तो वह तुम्हारी माँ होगी ।’ यह कहकर उसने मेमने को मार दिया । तब वह उसे खा गया । शिक्षा : जिसकी लाठी उसकी भैंस ।
Once there was a wolf. He felt thirsty. He went to a river. He started drinking water. He saw a lamb. It was also drinking water. It was lower down. The wolf’s mouth watered. He wanted to eat the lamb. He said to the lamb. “Why are you making the water muddy?”The lamb replied,” Sir, the water is flowing from you to me. How can I make it muddy?” Now the wolf sad,”Why did you abuse me last year?” The lamb replied, “I was not even born them.” At this the wolf again said,” Then it must be your mother.” Saying this he killed the lamb. Then he ate it up. Moral : Might is Right.


51. A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED (दो मित्र और भालू की कहानी)
मोहन और सोहन दो मित्र थे । मोहन एक अच्छा मित्र था । परन्तु सोहन स्वार्थी था । एक दिन वे जंगल मैं से गुजरे । उन्होंने एक रीछ देखा । वे डर गये । सोहन तुरंत एक व्रक्ष पर चढ़ गया । उसने मोहन की परवाह नही की । मोहन भूमि पर लेट गया । उसने अपना सांस रोक लिया रीछ ने आकर उसे सूंघा। उसने सोचा की मोहन मरा हुआ है । वह वहां से चला गया । सोहन नीचे उतरा । उसने मोहन के पास जाकर पूछा , ” रीछ ने तुम्हारे कान मैं क्या कहा ? ” मोहन ने उत्तर दिया, ” रीछ ने मुझे उदेश दिया कि झूठे मित्रों से सावधान रहो । ” शिक्षा : स्वार्थी मित्रों से सावधान रहो ।
Mohan and Sohan ware two friends. Mohan was a good friend. But sohan was selfish. One day they passed through a jungle. They saw a bear. They ware afraid. Sohan at once climbed up a tree. He did not care for Mohan. Mohan lay down on the ground. He held his breath. The bear came and smelt him. He thought that Mohan was dead. He went away. Sohan came down. He went to Mohan and asked,” What did the bear say in your ear?” Mohan replaid, “The bear asked me to beware of false friends.” Moral : Beware Of Selfish friends.

52. THE HIDDEN TREASURE (छिपे खजाने की कहानी)
एक बार एक बूढा किशान था । उसके चार पुत्र थे ।वे बहुत सुस्त थे । वे कुछ भी नहीं करते थे । वे सदा लड़ते रहते थे । एक दिन किसान बीमार पड़ गया । वह जनता था कि उसका अंत निकट है । उसने अपने पुत्रों को बुलाया । उसने कहा,” हमारे खेत में एक खजाना है । इसे मेरी मोत के बाद निकाल लेना ।” तब किसान मर गया । पुत्र खेत में गए । उन्होंने सारा खेत खोद दिया । मगर वहां खजाना नहीं था । एक अक्लमंद व्यक्ति ने उन्हें गेहूं बोने की सलाह दी । उन्होंने गेहूं बो दिया । उनकी फसल बहुत अच्छी हुई । उन्होंने परिश्रम की कीमत जान ली । उन्होंने मेहनत करनी आरंभ कर दी । शिक्षा : सेवा बिना , मेवा नहीं ।
Once there was an old farmer. He had four sons. They ware lazy. They did nothing. They were always quarreilling. One day the farmer fell ill. He knew that his death was near. He called his sons. He said, ” There is a treasure in our field. Dig it out after my death.” Then the farmer died. The sons went to the field. They dug the the whole field. But there was no treasure. A Wise man advised that to sow wheat. They sowed wheat. The had a good crop. They learnt the value of hard work. They begain to work hard. Moral : No Pains, No Gains.

53. GOD MERCURY AND THE WOODCUTTER (भगवान मक़सद और लकड़ी का कवच)
एक बार एक गरीब लकडहारा था । एक दिन वह एक नदी के किनारे एक वृक्ष को कट रहा था । उसका कुल्हाड़ा नदी में गिर गया । वह उदास हो गया । मरकरी देवता प्रकट हुए । उसने लकडहारे से पूछा की वह उदास क्यों हैं । लकडहारे ने कहा की उसका कुल्हाडा नदी में गिर गया है । मरकरी देवता ने डुबकी लगाई । वह एक सोने का कुल्हाडा निकाल लाया । मगर लकडहारे ने कहा,”यह मेरा नहीं है ।” देवता ने फिर डुबकी लगाई । वह चांदी का कुल्हाडा निकालकर लाया । मगर लकडहारे ने कहा ,” यह मेरा नहीं है ।”अंत में देवता लोहे का कुल्हाडा निकालकर लाया । लकडहारा प्रसन्न हो गया । उसने कहा ,” यह कुल्हाडा मेरा है ।” देवता उसकी ईमानदारी पर प्रसन्न हो गया । उसने उसे तीनों कुल्हाड़े दे दिए । शिक्षा : ईमानदारी सर्वोत्तम नीति है ।
once there was a poor woodcutter. One day he was cutting a tree on the bank of a river. His axe fell into the water. He was sad. God mercury appeared. He asked the woodcutter why he was sad. The woodcutter said that his axe had fallen into the water. God mercury dived. He brought out a golden axe. But the woodcutter said,” This is not mine.” The god dived again. He brought out a silver axe. But the woodcutter said again,” This is not mine.” At least the god brought an iron axe. The woodcutter was happy. He said, ” this axe is mine.” The god was pleased at his honesty. He gave him all the three axes. Moral: honesty is the best policy.


7. THE DOVE AND THE BEE (एक अच्छा कार्य करने के बाद एक और करना चाहिए)


एक बार एक मधुमक्खी थी । उसे प्यास लगी । वह नदी पर गई । वह पानी में गिर गई । वह मरने वाली थी ।एक फाख्ता ने उसे देखा । उसने एक पत्ता तोडा । उसने पत्ते को पानी में डाल दिया ।मधुमक्खी इस पर चढ़ गई ।उसकी जान बच गई ।वह उड़ गई । कुछ दिन बीत गए । एक शिकारी आया । उसने फाख्ता को देखा । उसने फाख्ता पर निशाना साधा । मधुमक्खी ने यह सब देखा । उसने शिकारी को कट लिया । उसकी बंदूक गिर गई । फाख्ता उड़ गई । उसने मधुमक्खी का धन्यवाद किया । 
शिक्षा : कर भला , हो भला ।
Once there was a bee. It felt thirsty. It went to the river. It fell into the river. It was about to die. A dove saw it. She plucked a leaf. She threw the leaf into the water. The bee got on to it. Its life was saved. It flew away. Some days passed. A hunter came. He saw the dove. He aimed at the dove. The bee saw all this . It stung the hunter. His gun fell down. The dove flew away. She thanked the bee. Moral: Do good, have good.

8. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL (एकता में अटूट शक्ति)


एक बार एक किसान था । उसके चार पुत्र थे । वे सदा एक -दुसरे के साथ झगड़ते रहते थे । किसान बड़ा दुखी था । उसने उन्हें झगड़ा न करने की शिक्षा दी , परंतु व्यर्थ । एक दिन किसान बीमार हो गया ।वह जनता था कि उसका अंत निकट है । उसने अपने पुत्रों को बुलाया । उसने उन्हें लकड़ियों का एक गठ्ठा दिया । उसने उन्हें इसको तोड़ने के लिए कहा । परन्तु वे इसे तोड़ न सके । तब गठ्ठे को खोल दिया गया ।किसान ने अपने पुत्रों को कहा कि वे एक -एक लकड़ी को तोड़ें । प्रत्येक पुत्र ने लडकियों को तोड़ दिया । पिता ने कहा ,” लकड़ी के गठ्ठे की भांति मिलकर रहो ।यदि मिलकर रहोगे तो तुम्हे कोई हानि नहीं पंहुचा पायेगा ।”
पुत्रों ने शिक्षा प्राप्त की । वे फिर कभी नहीं झगडे । शिक्षा : एकता में बल है ।

There was a farmer. He had four sons. Thay always quarrelled with one another. The farmer was very sad . He advised them not to quarrel. But in vain. One day the farmer fell ill. He knew that his end was near. He called his sons. He gave them a bundle of sticks. He asked them to break it. But thay failed to do so. Then the bundle was united. The farmer asked his sons to break the sticks one by one . Each son broke the sticks. The father said,” Be united like the bundle.If you are united,none will harm you.” The sons learnt a leason. Thay never quarrelled again. Morel : union is strength.

9. THE FOX AND THE CROW (लोमड़ी और कौए की कहानी)


एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी । वह बहुत भूखी थी । वह भोजन की खोज में इधर – उधर घुमती रही । परंतु उसे कहीं भी भोजन न मिल पाया । अंत में वह एक बाग में पहुंची । वहां उसने एक कोआ देखा जो पेड़ पर बेठा था । कोए की चोंच में पनीर का एक टुकड़ा था ।
लोमड़ी बहुत चालाक थी । वह कोए की प्रशंसा करने लगी । उसने कहा ,’कोए मिया ! आप बहुत सुंदर हैं ।आपकी आवाज बहुत मीठी है । कृप्या, मुझे गीत सुनाइए ।” कोआ उसकी बातों में आ गया । उसने गीत गाने के लिए चोंच खोली।पनीर का टुकड़ा नीचे गिर पड़ा । लोमड़ी ने उसे खा लिया और चली गई । शिक्षा : चापलूसों से सावधान रहो ।

Once there was a fox. He was very hungry. He went here and there in search of food. But he did not get food anywhere. At least he reached a garden. There he saw a crow in the tree. THe crow had a piece of cheese in the break. The fox was very clever. He began to praise the crow. He said,” Dear crow! You are very beautiful. Your voice is very sweat. Please sing me a song.” The crow was taken in. He opened the beak to sing. The piece of cheese fell down. The fox at it up and went away. Morel : Beware of flatterers.

10. THE SHEPHERD BOY AND THE WOLF (भेड़ चराने वाला झूठा लड़का और भेड़िया)


एक बार एक गडरिया लड़का था । वह गाँव के बाहर अपनी भेड़ें चराता था । पास ही एक जंगल था ।
एक दिन गडरिया लड़का अपनी भेड़ें चारा रहा था । उसने गाँव वालो का मजाक उड़ाने की सोची । उसने चिल्लाना आरम्भ कर दिया ,”भेड़िया , भेड़िया ! आओ और मुझे बचाओ ।” गाँव के लोग भागे आए । पर वहां कोई भेड़िया नही था उसने कहा की यह तो मजाक था । गाँव वाले बहुत नाराज हुए । वे चले गए । एक दिन एक भेड़िया सच में आ गया । गडरिया लड़का सहायता के लिए चिल्लाया । मगर गाँव वालों ने सोचा कि वह मजाक कर रहा है । वे नहीं आए ।भेडिये ने बहुत सी भेड़ें मार दी । उसने लड़के को घायल कर दिया । लड़के ने सबक सीख लिया ।उसने उसके बाद झूठ नहीं बोला । शिक्षा : कभी झूठ मत बोलो ।
Once there was a shepherd boy. He grazed his sheep outside the village. There was a forest nearby. one day the shepherd boy was grazing his sheep. He thought of making fun of villagers. He started shouting;”Wolf! wolf! Come and save me.” The villagers came running. There was no wolf. The boy laughed at them. He said that it was a joke. The villagers were angry. They went away. One day a wolf really came there. The shepherd boy cried for help. But the villagers thought that he was joking. They did not come. The wolf killed many sheep. It wounded the boy. The boy learnt a leason . He never told a lie again. Moral : Never tell a lie.

11. THE GREEDY DOG (लालची कुत्ते की कहानी)


एक कुत्ता बहुत भूखा था । वह इधर – उधर घूमता रहा । परंतु उसे भोजन कहीं भी न मिला । उसने मास की दुकान से मास का एक टुकड़ा चुराया ।वह उसे अकेले में खाना चाहता था । इसलिए वह जंगल की ओर गया । रस्ते में एक नदी थी । वह पुल पर गया । उसे पानी में अपनी परछाई दिखाई दी । उसने सोचा की यह कोई और कुत्ता है । उस कुत्ते के मुहं में भी मास का टुकड़ा था । कुत्ता लालची था । वह उस टुकड़े को भी प्राप्त करना चाहता था।  इसलिए वह उस पर भोंकने लगा । उसका अपना मांस का टुकड़ा पानी में जा गिरा । वह बहुत उदास हो गया । अब बहुत देर हो गई थी । शिक्षा : लालच बुरी बला है ।
A dog was very hungry. He went here and there. But he did not find food anywhere. He stole a piece of meat from a meat shop. He wanted to eat it alone. So he went to the jungle. There was a river on the way. When he went on the bridge, he saw his own reflection in the water. He thought that it was another dog.That dog also had a piece of meat. This dog was greedy to get that piece also. So he barked at him. His own piece of meat fell into the water. He was very sad. But it was to late. Moral : Greed is a curse.

12. THE FOX AND THE GOAT (एक लोमड़ी और एक बकरी की कहानी)


एक बार एक लोमड़ी था । वह बहुत प्यासी था । वह एक कुए पर गयी। उसने पानी पीने का प्रयत्न किया । दुर्भाग्यवश वह कुए में गिर गयी । वह उदास हो गयी । एक बकरी वहां आई । उसने कुए में देखा । लोमड़ी ने उससे कहा ,”पानी ठंडा और मीठा है ।कृपया अन्दर आ जाओ ।” बेवकूफ बकरी ने उस पर विश्वास किया । उसने कुए में छलांग लगा दी । लोमड़ी बकरी के ऊपर चढ़ गयी । वह कुएं से बहार आ गयी ।बकरी मर गई । शिक्षा : देखभाल कर काम करो ।
Once there was a fox. He was thirsty.He went to a well. He tried to drink water. By chance he fell into the well. He was sad. A goat came there. She looked into the well. The fox said to her,” the water is cold and sweat.Please come in.” The foolish goat beleived him. She jumped into the well. The fox climbed up the goat. He came out of the well. The goat died there.
Moral : Look before you leap.

13. THE CAP SELLER AND THE MONKEYS (टोपी-विक्रेता और बंदर की कहानी)


एक बार एक टोपी बेचने वाला था । उसके पास टोपियों का एक बंडल था । वह एक गाँव को जा रहा था । रास्ते में एक जंगल था । गर्मी का मोसम था । वह आराम करना चाहता था ।वह एक वृक्ष के नीचे लेट गया । वह सो गया । वृक्ष पर कुछ बन्दर थे ।वे नीचे आ गए । टोपी बेचने वाला जागा । उसने अपनी टोपीयों को गायब पाया । उसने ऊपर देखा । उसने बन्दर देखे । टोपियाँ उनके सिरों पर थीं । टोपी बेचने वालो को एक तरकीब सूझी । उसने अपनी टोपी फेंक दी । टोपी बेचने वाले को अपनी टोपियाँ मिल गई । वह चला गया । शिक्षा : कठिनाई में आशा मत त्यागो ।
Once there was a cap seller. He had abundle of caps. He was going to a village. There was a forest in the way. It was very hot. He wanted to take rest. He lay under a tree. He fell asleep.
There were some monkeys on the tree. They came down. They took away all his caps. The cap seller woke up. He found his cap missing. He looked up. He saw the monkeys. The caps were on thier heads. The cap seller thought of a plan. he threw down his cap. The monkeys also threw their caps. The cap seller got his caps. He went away.
Moral : Do not give up hope in difficulty.

14. THE HEN THAT LAID GOLDEN EGGS (मुर्गी और सोने के अंडे की कहानी)


एक बार एक किसान था । उसके पास एक अद्दभुत मुर्गी थी । यह रोज सोने का एक अंडा देती थी । शीघ्र ही किसान अमीर हो गया । किसान बहुत लालची था । उसने सोचा की मुर्गी के अंदर बहुत – से अंडे हैं । वह सारे अंडे एक बार में ही लेना चाहता था । उसे एक तरकीब सूझी । उसने मुर्गी को मार दिया । मगर मुर्गी के अंदर कोई अंडा नहीं था । किसान उदास हो गया । मगर अब तो बहुत देर हो चुकी थी । उसकी मुर्गी मर चुकी थी । शिक्षा : लालच बुरी बाला है ।
Once there was a farmer. He had a wonderful hen. It laid one golden egg daily. The farmer soon became rich. The farmer was greedy. He thought there were many eggs in the hen. He wanted to get all the eggs at once. He thought a plan. He killed the hen. But there was no egg inside it. The farmer became sad. But it was too late. He had lost his hen. 
Moral : Greed Is A Curse.

15. THE TAILOR AND THE ELEPHANT (एक हाथी और एक दर्जी)


एक बार एक हाथी था । वह प्रतिदिन नदी पर जाता था । वह नदी में नहाता था । रस्ते में एक दर्जी की दुकान थी । दर्जी रोज हाथी को केले देता था । वे मित्र बन गए । एक दिन दर्जी गुस्से में था । हाथी आया । दर्जी ने उसका स्वागत नहीं किया । हठी ने अपनी सूंड दुकान में डाली । दर्जी ने उसकी सुन्द में सुई चुभो दी । हाथी को गुस्सा आया । मगर वह चला गया । हाथी नदी पर गया । उसने अपनी सूंड गंदे पानी से भर ली ।वह वापिस आया । उसने गन्दा पानी दुकान में फेंक दिया । दर्जी के नए कपडे ख़राब हो गए । दर्जी उदास हो गया । शिक्षा : जेसे को तेसा ।
Once there was an elephant. He went to river daily. He took bath in the river. There was a tailor’s shop on the way. The tailor gave bananas to the elephnat daily. They became friends.
One day the tailor was engry. The elephnat came. The tailor did not welcome him. The elephnat put his trunk into the shop. The tailor pricked his trunk with a needle. The elephnat was angry. But he went away. The elephant went to the river. He filled hi trunk with dirty water. He came back. He threw the dirty water into the shop. Tailor’s new clothes were spoiled. The tailor was sad. Moral : Tit For Tat.

16. THE THIRSTY CROW (जहां चाह, वहां राह)


गर्मी का मौसम था । बहुत गर्मी थी । एक कोआ बहुत प्यासा था । वह पानी की तलास में इधर – उधर उड़ता रहा । मगर उसे पानी कहीं नहीं मिला । वह एक बाग में पंहुचा । कोए ने पानी का एक मटका देखा । मगर पानी बहुत नीचे था । उसकी चोंच वहां तक नहीं पहुँच सकती थी । उसने मटके के पास कुछ कंकड़ देखे । कोए को एक योजना सूझी । उसने एक -एक करके कंकड़ उठाए । उसने उन्हें मटके में डाला । पानी ऊपर आ गया । उसने पानी पिया और उड़ गया । शिक्षा : जहाँ चाह , वहां राह ।
It was summer. It was very hot. A crow was thristy. He flew here and there in search of water. But he did not find water anywhere. He reached a garden.
The crow saw a pitcher of water. But the water was very low. His beak could not reach it. He saw some pebbles near the pitcher. The crow thought of a plan. He picked the pebbles one by one. He put them into the pitcher. The water rose up. he drank the water and flew away.
Moral : Where There Is A Will, There Is A Way.

17. THE FOX AND THE GRAPES (अंगूर और लोमड़ी की कहानी)


एक बार एक लोमड़ी थी । वह बहुत भूखी थी । वह भोजन की खोज में इधर-उधर घुमती रही । परन्तु उसे कहीं भी भोजन न मिला । अंत में वह एक बाग में पहुची । वहां उसने पके हुए अंगूर देखे । उसके मुंह में पानी आ गया । वह उन्हें खाना चाहती थी । अंगूर बहुत ऊँचे थे । लोमड़ी बार – बार उछली । परन्तु वह उन तक न पहुंच सकी । सीघ्र ही वह थक गई । “ये अंगूर खट्टे हैं । मैं इन्हें नहीं खाऊँगी। ” ये शब्द कहते हुए वह वहां से चली गई ।  शिक्षा : हाथ न पहुंचे , थू कोडी अथवा अंगूर खट्टे हैं ।

18. THE VAIN STAG (निरर्थक बारहसिंगा की कहानी)


एक बारहसिंगा था । उसे प्यास लगी । वह एक तालाब पर गया। उसने पानी में अपनी परछाई देखी । उसने अपने सिंग देखे । वे सुंदर थे । वह प्रसन्न हो गया ।तब उसने अपनी टांगे देखी । ये भद्दी थी । उसे अपनी टैंगो से नफरत हुई । उसी समय उसने कुछ शिकारी कुत्ते देखे । वह तेज भगा । शिकारी कुत्ते उसके पीछे भागे । अचानक उसके सींग झड़ी में फंस गए । वह उन्हें छुड़ा न सका । शिकारी कुत्ते आ गए । उन्होंने उसे पकड़ लिया । उन्होंने उसे मर डाला । उसकी भद्दी टांगों ने उसे बचाने का प्रयत्न किया । मगर उसके सुंदर सींगों ने उसे मरवा दिया । शिक्षा :अभिमान का सिर नीचा ।
Once there was Stag. He felt thristy. He went to a pool. He saw his reflection in the water. He saw his horns. These were beautiful. He was happy. Then he saw his legs. These were ugly. He hated his legs. Just then saw some hounds. He ran fast. The hounds ran after him. suddenly his horns were caught in a bush. He could not free them. The hounds came. They caught him. They killed him. His ugly legs tired to save him. But his beautiful horns got him killed.
Moral : Pride hath a fall.

19. THE CAMEL AND THE JACKAL (ऊंट और सियार की कहानी)

एक बार एक ऊंट और एक गीदड़ थे । वे मित्र थे । एक दिन वे खरबूजों के खेत में गए । यह नदी के पर था ।
उन्होंने खरबूजे खाने आरंभ कर दिए । गीदड़ सीघ्र ही संतुष्ट हो गया । उसने चीखना आरंभ कर दिया । ऊंट ने उससे कहा की ऐसा न करे । मगर गीदड़ ने कहा,” यह मेरी आदत है । मैं भोजन के बाद चीखता हूँ । ” किसान ने चीखने की आवाज सुनी । वह भाग आया। उसने ऊंट को पीटा । वे वापस नदी पर आए । ऊंट ने गीदड़ को अपनी पीठ पर उठा रखा था । जब वी नदी के मध्य में पहुंचे तो ऊंट ने लुढ़कना आरंम्भ कर दिया । गीदड़ ने उससे प्रार्थना की कि वह न लुढ़के । मगर ऊंट ने कहा ,”यह मेरी आदत है । मैं भोजन के बाद लुढ़कता हूँ । ” ऊंट पानी में लुढ़का । गीदड़ पानी में गिरा और मर गया । शिक्षा : जेसा करोगे , वैसा भरोगे ।
Once there was a camel and a jackal. They were frineds. One day they went to a field of melons. He was across the river. They started eating melons. The jackal was soon satisfied. He began to howl. The camel asked him not to do so. But the jackal siad, ” It is my habit. I Howl after a meal.” The farmer heard the howling. He came there. He beat The camel. They came back to the stream. The camel carried the jackal on his back. When they reached the middle of the stream, the camel began to roll. The jackal requested the camel not to do so. But the camel said,”It is my habit to roll after a meal.” The camel rolled in to the water. The jackal fell into the water and died. Moral : As You Show, So shall You Reap.

20. TWO SILLY GOATS (दो मुर्ख बकरियों की कहानी)


एक नदी थी । उस पर एक पुल था । पुल बहुत तंग था । एक बार में उस पर से केवल एक ही जानवर गुजर सकता था ।
एक बार एक बकरी पुल पर आई । दूसरी ओर से एक अन्य बकरी आई । दोनों ही नदी पार करना चाहती थी । वे पुल के मध्य में मिलीं । एक बकरी ने कहा ,” पहले मैं जाउंगी ।” दूसरी बकरी ने कहा ,”नहीं ,पहले मैं जाउंगी ।” वे आपस में लड़ने लगीं । वे नदी में गिर गई । दोनों बकरिया मर गईं ।
शिक्षा : मुर्खता से विनाश होता है ।
There was a river. There was a bridge on it. The bridge was very narrow. Only one animal could pass over it at a time. One day a goat came to the bridge. Another goat came on the opposite side. Each wanted to cross the river. They met in the middle of the bridge. One goat said,”I Will go first.” The second goat said,”No i will go firt.” They quarrelled with each other. They fell into the river. Both the goats died. Moral : Folly Leads To Ruin.

1. 1 killed in accident
Sant Kabir Nagar (UP): One person was killed and two others were injured when a truck rammed into another stationary truck parked alongside a road in Khalilabad area here, police said. The truck driver, identified as Sonu (39), died on the spot. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition was declared to be stable.

2. Tigress dies in Van Vihar
Bhopal: An old tigress named Bansi died due to age-related ailments at Van Vihar National Park here. Bansi had been suffering from paralysis since November 2015. On Monday, the feline suffered a heart attack following which she passed away, an official release said. She was 13 and a half years old. Bansi was brought to Van Vihar when she was just three months old in January 2003 from Karmai village in neighboring Raisen district.

3. Children drowned in a pond
Sheikhpura (Bihar): Two siblings drowned in a pond in Jangipur village in Bihar’s Sheikhpura district on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Roshan Kumar (12) and Priyanka (16), who were the children of Yogendra Yadav, a resident of Jangipur village under Barbigha police station of the district, Superintendent of Police Rajendra Kumar Bheel said. The incident occurred when Roshan was bathing in a private pond located in front of his house. He went into deep waters and started drowning. Seeing her brother drowning, elder sister Priyanka jumped into the pond to save him but both drowned.

4. Child falls from moving train
Navapara (Bilaspur): A four-year-old girl was seriously injured after falling from a moving train near Navapara in Bilaspur district, a district official said. Pooja sustained serious injuries on Monday as she leaned against the bolted emergency door of the Rajdhani train and fell on the tracks as the door suddenly opened, he said. Pooja was rushed to Apollo Hospital after being rescued from the tracks by her family members and others as the train stopped.

5. 8 sentenced to death
Chennai: A district court on Tuesday sentenced eight persons to death and awarded life term to another convict for murdering a college student in 2014 in North 24 Parganas in West Bengal. Pronouncing the judgment, Seventh Additional District Judge, Chennai, Daman Prasad Biswas, also awarded five-year jail terms to three persons, including a woman, for the murder of the student Sourav Chowdhury at Bamunghati in the district on July 5, 2014.

6. 2 die consuming wild mushrooms
Shillong: Two persons of a family died and two others were taken ill after consuming wild mushrooms in a remote village in Meghalaya’s South Garo Hills district, police said. Rajan Singh (65) and his granddaughter Puspa Singh (4) died on Monday at a hospital in Naraynpur, they said. Police said the family had cooked wild mushrooms on Sunday and fell ill shortly after consuming it. Puspa’s seven-year-old brother, Puspendra, and his mother Anila Singh (35) are in hospital, they said, adding their condition is stated to be critical.

7. Man murdered by brother-in-law
Sikar: A 21-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his brother-in-law over a domestic dispute in Rajasthan’s Sikar district, police said. Jitendra was stabbed to death by his sister’s husband, Goverdhan, on Monday following an argument at the deceased’s house in Balara police station area, they said. The victim was rushed to the local hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police said his body was handed over to the family after postmortem. The accused has been arrested and is being interrogated.
